In a rapidly evolving society, we believe that ‘news’ is a vital source of information and competitiveness. As a news channel that is committed to deliver accurate and timely news to viewers regardless of time and place, we continuously adapt to the ever-changing media landscape through change and innovation.

YTN operates three channels: YTN, comprehensive news channel; YTN Science, focused on science programming; and YTN2, a channel connects news and entertainment. YTN’s two affiliates: YTN Radio and YTN DMB broadcast terrestrial radio and DMB content, and YTN’s Digital Center specializes in producing and distributing digital content for new media platforms, ensuring the company remains active across various fields.

In 2023, YTN became the first Korean media company to surpass 4 million subscribers on YouTube, and in 2022, it ranked top in the trust scores among Korean major news outlets, from the Digital News Report by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, impressing the public with its ability to provide fair and prompt news stories.

Beyond news production, YTN also leads the way in broadcasting and tourism culture. Since acquiring the Namsan SeoulTower in 2000, YTN has worked for public value, by delivering broadcast signals of major Korean broadcasters. Namsan SeoulTower has served as an iconic landmark of Korea and a representative tourist attraction.

In this way, YTN will remain dedicated to evolving and innovating to provide accurate and prompt news to viewers anytime, anywhere as a leading news media group representing Korea across diverse fields.
