Description
The small caterpillar that emerged late from the egg said that the leaves were tasteless and tough when the other friends eagerly ate the leaves and grew in size. It only ate flowers and became colorful caterpillar. Even when all of their friends have turned into butterflies, the colorful caterpillars that remain as caterpillars live in the grass, making new friends such as spiders, earthworms, and dung beetles. When friends who have become butterflies come to the caterpillar and ask if it is okay not to become a butterfly, the little caterpillar answers bravely. “Yes, I'm OK. I love my colorful self just the way I am."
