Description
A sound monster has appeared in the city. This monster was created by a collection of words which were spoken yet neglected by others, and the monster storms through the city, making overwhelming noise. This noise is so loud that people’s everyday lives are affected. The city even tries to use military force to get rid of the monster while the scientists try to figure out what the monster is, but all is in vain and the monster only gets louder. Finally, people realize that the only way to defeat the Sound Monster is to pay attention to each other’s words, and only then does the monster start to lose its form. Sometimes, people tend to say what they want to say without listening to what the others have to say. This story shows how the lack of mutual communication in the modern era could lead to inconvenience, and conveys the importance of paying attention to others.
