This work explores the importance of understanding and patience.
It tells the story of healing relationships and fostering communication through efforts to understand others' pain and wounds, as well as recognizing moments when patience is needed.
Focusing on the message of perseverance and empathy that the protagonist, Hani, learns through her experiences with her mother and a monstrous dog, the narrative depicts the process of reaching out to one another and opening their hearts.
The work aims to convey the themes of understanding and patience in a way that is both familiar and touching for children.
Performance Audiobook Script
Hani's house. It's past lunchtime, but her mom is still sleeping.
Hani: Mom~ wake up~ (shaking her) Mom~ you said we'd go to the playground today~ (jumping on the bed) Mom~
Mom: (annoyed) Ugh... just a little longer. I just fell asleep.
Hani: How long?
Mom: ...............
Hani: Five minutes? Ten minutes? Right?
Mom: Five minutes, five minutes.
Hani: Okay, promise!
Hani waits for her mom to get up, playing with her doll alone.
Hani: One tick-tock.
