BODA MEDIA GROUP, based in Seoul, South Korea, was founded in 2010 by Sinae HA and Wooyoung CHOI. BODA produces and co-produces creative documentaries and factual series with a focus on human interest, social issues, and, more recently, nature, animal, and intercultural themes.
HERE COMES UNCLE JOE (2013), the company's debut feature documentary, was awarded at international film festivals and broadcast on numerous channels around the world. Following the release of REACH FOR THE SKY (2015), a co-production with Belgium, the film was shown at a number of prestigious film festivals, including Busan, DOK Leipzig, Udine, and Mar del Plata, to name a few. It was also broadcast on a global scale.
BODA Media’s portfolio also includes a number of international major and minor co-productions with filmmakers from the Philippines, China, Argentina, and more.
