Korea Independent Production Association

Korea Independent Production Association
Broadcasting
The Korea Independent Production Association is a representative organization of broadcast video content producers in Korea, founded in 1996 by about 200 professional independent production companies focused on the production of broadcast programs and video contents.

The association operates with the goal of improving the quality of broadcast program production, supply, and distribution, establishing publicity, and contributing to the government's content promotion policy to respond to the cultural ripple and diversification of social functions of independent production companies. With these goals, we aim to contribute to the development and revival of domestic content and the improvement of the cultural welfare of viewers beyond Korea and overseas.

To achieve the above goals, in the last 4-5 years, the association has been promoting projects such as manpower training and business internships to support the collapsing infrastructure of the production market, content planning and development (formats, etc.) to improve the capabilities of creators and producers, and business meetings with channels and platforms to create business opportunities for production companies, and support for content distribution in domestic and overseas markets.
