Whaleland is an idea studio that brings small moments of joy to everyday life and travel. We reimagine Korean culture and places as accessible character-driven IP through original characters, storytelling, physical products, and digital content. Our current project centers on BEOMI, an original Korean tiger character featured in a mission-based Seoul travel kit, with plans to expand through localized city editions and character collaborations worldwide.
Whaleland develops original character IP, experiential travel content, and merchandise concepts in-house, while production is outsourced to specialist manufacturers.
Its flagship project, BEOMI Seoul Stamp Tour, combines a passport-style mission book featuring 15 Seoul locations and local travel tips with stamp-style stickers, an acrylic keychain, an agent ID card, a dedicated envelope, and a post-trip mission report webpage.
An initial production of 1,500 full sets is underway: 250 Korean, 250 English, 500 Japanese, and 500 Chinese editions. Online and offline sales in Korea are scheduled to begin in August 2026.
For Japan, Whaleland is seeking partners for pre-trip distribution of the Japanese Seoul edition, co-development of localized city editions such as Osaka and Kyoto, and character merchandise and licensing collaborations.
