‘Aeko and Friends’ Surisuri Surisuri Metaworld Adventure’ is a user-participatory meta animation in the form of a game broadcast based on the metaverse of the global web3 platform The Sandbox, scheduled to air on EBS in 2024.
This work utilizes the worldview and characters of the popular math play animation ‘Aeko and Friends (Season 1, aired on EBS in 2019)’ IP. This work exquisitely combines the avatar role-playing method in which popular YouTubers and general viewers participate in the metaverse experience with the traditional animation production method, and is an adventure genre in which Aeko and friends carry out math missions to save their number friends. Avatar players in the metaverse can learn math in a fun way by performing various math game missions (number games, comparison, patterns, classification). This is a new concept of learning content where animation and metaverse games are released simultaneously, allowing viewers to recognize the story through the video and experience it directly in the metaverse, thereby maximizing the metacognitive learning effect.
