Summary
In a near future shattered by an unprecedented global economic depression, crime surges while the police are stretched beyond their limits. When his only family, his older sister and a former ace of the Violent Crimes Unit, suddenly disappears, detective Hwang Cha-sung traces her case to a virtual-world game called Another Heaven.
With the help of Yoo Sun-min, a genius mod maker forced to live in the shadows, Cha-sung enters the game and discovers a terrifying truth: crimes committed inside Another Heaven are being repeated in the real world.
Moving between the virtual world as a criminal and reality as a detective, Cha-sung hunts criminals and searches for his sister, while confronting Kim Seok-hyun, the game’s creator, who seeks to destroy the boundary between reality and the virtual world and build a massive game empire of his own.
