Summary
A coming-of-age romance fantasy. Princess Ashtarte, reborn with full memories of her tragic past life, tries to earn the love of the family that brands her as "Darkness" while a homunculus impostor is paraded as the "Light" princess. As she uncovers the High Priest's conspiracy, she chooses her own destiny over her family's approval, in a story echoing the gothic and feminist literary traditions of Jane Eyre and The Count of Monte Cristo.
