Azure Spring

Here are two two individuals who are unable to move forward due to their past and fear of the future. Doek-hyun, a middle-aged man, and An-na, a job seeker paralyzed by anxiety, become Haenyo(female divers) in order to flow, plunging into the sea with nothing but their bodies. The cost is steep, yet they experience things they couldn't feel in the stagnant world they came from. Deok-hyun sees the sea as a 'refuge', while An-na sees it as an 'escape.' Despite their different backgrounds, they find solace diving into the ocean. <Azure Spring> is based on the webtoon from Lezin Comics. The story despicts the journey of discovering the meaning of life lost in nature and living alongside forgotten neighbors, portraying a human drama.
