Summary

Hana, a girl placed in an orphanage due to child abuse, and Yujin, who lost her memories and now goes by the name Doona, become very close at the orphanage but are eventually adopted by different families. After Hana tragically loses her adoptive parents in an accident and Doona (Yujin) passes away in a hit-and-run accident, Hana takes on the responsibility of raising Eun-chong, Doona’s son.
Meanwhile, Chairman Shin of the Segye Group has spent her entire life searching for her lost daughter, Yujin. One day, she learns of Yujin’s tragic death and the existence of Yujin’s son, Eun-chong. Suspecting foul play behind the hit-and-run accident, Chairman Shin deceives Hana into believing she is Chairman Shin’s long-lost daughter and uses her as a shield to protect her grandson, Eun-chong.
Unaware of the truth, Hana believes she has been reunited with her biological mother and is overjoyed. However, she soon discovers that Chairman Shin has only been using her, and that Chairman Shin is responsible for bankrupting Hana’s adoptive parents’ business, ultimately leading to their deaths. Consumed by anger, Hana vows to take revenge.
