Summary
Hanteo Music Awards (HMA) is a global K-POP awards ceremony presented by Hanteo Global, operator of the Hanteo Chart — the world's only real-time music chart with over three decades of history. Winners are selected based on objective Hanteo Chart data across multiple indices, including physical album, digital music, media, global authentication, portal, and fandom. Since hosting its first in-person ceremony in 2022 to mark the chart's 30th anniversary, HMA has grown into a large-scale, festival-style K-POP celebration held annually at major Seoul venues such as the KSPO DOME. K-POP fans worldwide take part directly through global voting on the dedicated WHOSFAN app, and the show spans generations and genres, from idols to trot. Backed by data-driven credibility and active fan participation, HMA is a distinctive, export-ready K-POP IP with a strong global fanbase.

Established in 2018, HANTEO Global is a comprehensive music platform company that leads the global Korean Wave with its unique content.
