"Strange Country's Yel" is a 5-episode AI fantasy drama produced under an official 2026 KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency) support project. Co-produced by Clay Pictures and Cubeberry, it follows Yel, who steps into a surreal 'Wonderland' where reality and fantasy blur, and journeys to find her own story in this unfamiliar world.
What sets this project apart is that every scene is generated with AI video technology. Using Higgsfield's Seedance 2.0 and Kling 3.0, the team creates precise, scene-by-scene imagery, achieving cinematic direction with consistent characters and emotional performance.
Directed by CEO Eunkyung Choi, a veteran with 23 years in broadcast drama, the series brings her narrative and acting-direction expertise into an AI production pipeline. Founded in May 2026, Clay Pictures Co., Ltd. is a hybrid drama studio combining broadcast drama expertise with a generative AI pipeline. CEO Choi Eun-kyung, a former MBC drama producer of 23 years, co-directed a Grand Prize winner at Busan International AI Film Festival. Blending live-action with AI-generated footage, we significantly reduce costs and production time while handling every stage in-house.
Our flagship IP, the fantasy series "Iel in Wonderland," is in production under KOCCA's co-production program as a 40-minute pilot and 2-minute trailer, targeting overseas OTT and short-form platforms. A vertical short-form lineup is also in development for multi-market localization.
We are developing a proprietary AI video model specialized in Korean dialogue, acting tone, and directing grammar, with SaaS/API commercialization planned. Our CEO chairs the Korea AI Drama Creators Association (200+ members), and an MOU with Seoul Institute of the Arts anchors our talent pipeline.
