Summary
Kyeo-re has lived a life riddled with pain — from childhood abuse to bouncing between orphanages, detention centers, and even prison.
Emotionally and physically broken, he believes his life is over… until a court-ordered community service leads him to a place he never expected:
a hospice center for the terminally ill.
There, he meets Tae-shik, the quietly charismatic leader of Team Genie, a volunteer unit that grants final wishes to patients nearing the end of life.
Alongside Yeon-joo, a fiercely spirited and warm-hearted nurse, Kyeo-re slowly begins to shed his defensive walls.
As he participates in fulfilling these patients’ most heartfelt and often bittersweet wishes,
he starts to confront his own grief and past wounds — and for the first time, wonders if he too is worthy of healing.
