Summary
Choi Yuri is a woman who sacrificed her youth, dreams, and even her family for Kwon Jaehwang, an unknown theater actor drifting from stage to stage. For seven years, she has consistently supported him, providing both material and emotional aid to make him a star.
However, just as Yuri discovers she is pregnant with Jaehwang's child—a moment of celebration—she accidentally learns of the relationship between Jaehwang and Oh Sujeong, whom he had treated like a younger sister. The two had been physically and emotionally entangled for a long time, and Yuri completely collapses in the face of this shocking betrayal.
As if the betrayal were not enough, Yuri meets her death as a victim of a fire orchestrated by Jaehwang and Sujeong. At that moment, Jaehwang's half-brother, Kwon Inseong, rushes to save her.
As Yuri and Inseong lose consciousness in the fire, Inseong whispers amidst intense despair and rage:
