Summary

Genre: BL / Drama / Romance / Slice of Life
Format: 30 main episodes + 10 epilogue episodes
Setting: Present day, in the fictional American city of “Ool”

Three years ago, they met casually through a dating app.
Phili, a cold and cynical city chef, and Winzor, a quiet yet persistent man, began as a one-time fling that unexpectedly blossomed into a long-term relationship.
Despite their contrasting personalities and backgrounds, there was a strange sense of familiarity in their shared loneliness that drew them together.

Yet, even in their deepening love, they never spoke of their pasts—not once.
They believed it was the way to protect each other, choosing to focus only on the present.
But one day, a crack appears in their carefully built relationship with the return of “A,” Phili’s ex-lover and the source of his deepest trauma.

Back in his New York days, Phili had fallen hard for A while working as a chef.
However, the relationship gradually turned into one of control and violence.
Eventually, Phili fled and started over in the quiet city of Ool, where he met Winzor by chance.
But A resurfaces, threatening Phili’s peace, showing up at his workplace and even his home—until finally confronting Winzor himself.

Only then does Phili open up about his past.
The confession, however, comes at a cost.
The trust built over years begins to crumble under the weight of misunderstanding and fear, and the two part ways.

Left alone, Phili realizes—perhaps for the first time—that he knows nothing about Winzor's own past.
Driven by frustration and guilt, he begins to uncover Winzor’s story and learns of the pain and grief he, too, has carried—marked by loss and death.

Having guarded only his own wounds, Phili finally comes to understand what it truly means to be “together.”
He reaches out once again, and the two begin to share their pasts openly and honestly.
In an act of trust and commitment, they choose to bind themselves with a "legal promise"—a proposal.

But at the edge of their new beginning, A reappears one last time.
This time, Phili doesn’t run.
Standing firmly beside Winzor, he faces the shadows of his past and closes that chapter for good—choosing a future defined not by fear, but by love and freedom.
