Summary

Just as the wealthy Seo family is about to expand their ventures by becoming in-laws with an automobile tycoon through the arranged marriage of their youngest carefree daughter Jung-In, their picture-perfect world comes crashing down. On the wedding day, the company goes bankrupt, and Jung-In’s newlywed husband cowardly dumps her on their way to the honeymoon.

Left with nothing but their pride, the Seo family turns to their former chauffeur, Man-Bok, the head of the humble and loving Kang family. Having served the Seo family since the days of Jung-In’s grandfather, Man-Bok takes them in.. but not out of pure charity. Honoring Jung-in’s late grandfather’s wishes to teach his prideful and irresponsible son a lesson in humility and change, Man-Bok uses this opportunity to guide the fallen family toward rediscovering their values.

What begins as a temporary arrangement quickly turns into a chaotic yet laughable clash of personalities, lifestyles, and expectations under one roof. At the heart of the chaos is Jung-In, who must navigate her new reality while developing feelings for Hyun-Soo, the Man-Bok’s reserved and hardworking grandson, who, unbeknownst to her, once harbored a crush on her older sister. Their budding romance sparks tensions not only between them but also within their families, bringing old resentments, class differences, and generational conflicts to the surface.
