The Light in Your Eyes

Hye-ja is a young, bright and cheerful woman who dreams of being a news announcer, but she has kept a secret for many years. Since she was a child, she came to possess a mysterious time piece which manipulates time. She found she could go back in time by turning the hands backward. However, she discovers that there are consequences of using the time piece as it makes her age at a faster rate. In college, Hye-ja meets Joon-ha, the campus heartthrob. Yet, there is a secret that Joon-ha has kept from the other students, the toxic relationship with his family. As the two bond and begin to lean on each other, their friendship develops into something more. One day, Hye-ja’s father gets into an accident and she decides to use her mysterious time piece to try to save his life. The consequences are horrifying as she finds herself having aged 70 years while Joon-ha falls into depression from her sudden disappearance and the continued abuse from his family.
