Summary

: A double-life mystery ro-comic office tale of a man who suffers from prosopagnosia and a woman who has to pretend to be the woman he falls in love with

Do Min-Ik, a sharp and exacting executive, possesses a photographic memory for faces and an uncanny ability to read people. That is, until a traumatic attack leaves him with prosopagnosia—an inability to recognize faces, even those of his closest friends and family. In this confusing new reality, the only person Min-Ik can identify is his unassuming secretary, Jung Gal-Hee, who has always been overlooked and dismissed.

Gal-Hee, dismissed by her colleagues as just a ‘guinea pig’, suddenly becomes indispensable. But when Min-Ik mistakes her for the glamorous heiress Veronica Park after a makeover, Gal-Hee is thrust into a double life she never expected. As she juggles her role as Min-Ik’s loyal secretary and her newfound identity as the charismatic Veronica, Gal-Hee begins to lose herself in the fantasy of being someone important, someone loved.

Meanwhile, the real Veronica discovers Gal-Hee’s act and devises a plan to use it to her advantage, all while falling for Min-Ik’s charming best friend, Ki Dae-Joo.

Caught in a whirlwind of mistaken identities, unexpected alliances, and growing feelings, these four lives intertwine in a tale of love, ambition, and self-discovery where nothing is as it seems.
