This body-interactive content lets children press a pump prop to inflate an onscreen balloon and lift a character skyward. As children press the pump repeatedly, internal sensors detect the pressure and frequency in real time onscreen. Linking the pumping with the character's rising altitude, it helps children move their whole body and feel achievement.
First, it builds upper-body strength and endurance. To lift the character higher, children repeatedly use the arms, shoulders, and upper body, and a steady rhythm boosts endurance and stamina. Through repetition, children learn to control their strength and feel the joy of moving.
Second, it strengthens visual exploration and achievement. As the character rises, the background shifts from a front yard to the sky, clouds, and outer space. These shifts stir curiosity and imagination, and reaching the goal builds confidence. Advancing step by step builds perseverance, and success raises self-esteem.
