Summary
One day, the protagonist receives a letter from an unknown sender. The letter contains a photograph of the protagonist and a simple message: "Come to Gangchon Station on October 3rd." Following this mysterious message, the protagonist, along with their younger sister, travels to Gangchon Station. There, they board a train capable of reversing time. Passengers on this train are all under a magical spell that transforms them into cats as they arrive in the past at Gangchon Station. In this place, the "Black Moon Festival" takes place, and participants, also affected by the cat or mouse transformation magic, revel in the festivities.
In the past, the protagonist encounters Hyein, who is preparing to confront a witch. Due to a battle with the witch, people in the area have been living under a magic spell that turned them into cats. Hyein aims to completely remove the witch, and to do so, she needs the power of moonlight. However, this requires awakening the witch trapped in a mouse statue. The protagonist and their sister assist Hyein in this quest, which involves complex plans, including traveling to a different dimension to retrieve a cat's eye.
The story unfolds with the showdown with the witch, the passage of time, and the challenges and growth of the main characters.
