Under the guidance of his father, who was a former professional soccer player, Son Heung-min learned soccer. Rather than obsessing over winning or following formal education, he solidified his fundamentals and nurtured a mindset that soccer is enjoyable.

Selected as an outstanding player by the Korea Football Association during his first year of high school, Son Heung-min went to Europe to learn soccer at Hamburger SV in Germany. Recognized for his skills, he officially joined Hamburger SV. Finally, in August 2015, Son Heung-min fulfilled his dream by entering the English Premier League.

With explosive speed and strong penetration ability, Son Heung-min excels in both winger and striker positions, playing a crucial role in leading his team to victory. He confidently earned the title of 'Asia's Best Player' by the British media in 2015 and 2018. In 2020, he also received the FIFA Puskás Award for scoring the most spectacular goal of the year. Since his first selection to the South Korean national team in 2010, Son Heung-min has consistently demonstrated outstanding performance in major tournaments and currently serves as the team's main striker.
