The Taipei International TV Market & Forum is the most important annual event for Taiwan’s TV industry. The event was inaugurated as the Taipei TV Festival in 2004 by the Government Information Office. Since 2012, the event has been coordinated by the Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development under the Ministry of Culture. Every year, the TV Market hosts content distributors, production companies, investors, film festival curators, and industry insiders from around the world. Attendees have access to such services as TV program and animation content trading, loan and investment assistance, and connecting to co-production and post-production partners. Today, the event is a key exchange platform in sync with market trends, where experience and techniques are shared, collaborative relationships are built, and a healthy cultural industry ecosystem is fostered.
