Stray Kids and Hwasa Take the Main Stage at Rock in Rio

Stray Kids became Rock in Rio's first K-pop headliner, and Hwasa became the first female K-pop soloist to perform on its main stage, Palco Mundo.

Key Issues

• First K-pop headliner in the festival's history: Stray Kids headlined Palco Mundo, Rock in Rio's main stage, in front of about 100,000 people at Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro. No K-pop act had headlined the festival since it began in 1985.

• A first for a female K-pop soloist: Hwasa performed for about an hour on Palco Mundo in front of about 80,000 fans, becoming the first female K-pop soloist to perform on that stage. Her set included 'Chili', 'I Love My Body' and a MAMAMOO medley.

• A separate Latin American festival series: Stray Kids also headlined STRAYCITY, a separate Latin American festival series organized by JYP Entertainment and Live Nation, with stops in Bogotá, Buenos Aires and Mexico City.

Jennie and ENHYPEN Set New Billboard Milestones

'Dracula' featuring Jennie set a new K-pop longevity record in the Hot 100 top 10, while ENHYPEN topped the Billboard 200 for the first time.

Key Issues

• A new top-10 longevity record: Tame Impala's 'Dracula,' featuring BLACKPINK's Jennie, held at No. 6 on the Hot 100, extending its top-10 run to 16 consecutive weeks. It surpassed the 15-week run of BTS's 'Butter' (2021) to become the longest-running top-10 song by or featuring a K-pop act.

• A remix that went viral: The song was first released as a Tame Impala solo single in October 2025. It gained renewed momentum after the Jennie remix arrived in February 2026, went viral on short-form video platforms and peaked at No. 5.

• ENHYPEN's first Billboard 200 No. 1: ENHYPEN's eighth mini album, 'THE SIN : BLISS', debuted at No. 1 with 98,000 equivalent album units. It was the group's first release as a six-member act; its previous Billboard 200 peak was No. 2.
