Detail

Since its launch in 2012, KCON has evolved into a global K-pop festival, attracting approximately 2.35 million on-site attendees across 14 regions as of August 2026. The United States and Japan have emerged as its two core markets, with KCON LA 2026 drawing 142,000 visitors and KCON JAPAN approximately 120,000. However, fan spending differs between these markets: the United States shows strong demand for physical music products, while Japan has a particularly large live entertainment market. Korean content companies and international buyers should recognize these differences and develop market-specific strategies for products, pricing, live experiences, and content distribution.
