K-pop artists have become influential drivers of global fashion visibility, generating substantial media exposure for luxury and lifestyle brands. At Dior's SS26 Paris show, Jimin and Jisoo generated USD 33.8 million and USD 30.5 million in Media Impact Value, respectively, while ENHYPEN accounted for 27%–32% of Prada's media value at recent Milan fashion shows. Artist collaborations and brand campaigns have also created significant short-term media attention across different fashion segments. However, Media Impact Value measures publicity rather than actual sales, and overseas consumers rank design, product quality, and variety above celebrity association when evaluating Korean fashion. Korean fashion companies and international buyers should therefore use K-pop visibility to identify market opportunities while making sourcing and purchasing decisions based on product competitiveness and actual consumer demand.
