South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with the Korea Creative Content Agency, has unveiled plans for the '2024 Content Barrier-Free Forum', scheduled for July 19-20 at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul. This event will feature participation from the Australian government and other organizations, with a focus on fostering a more inclusive content environment through technological advancements and evolving societal attitudes.
The forum aims to facilitate the exchange and development of policies that promote barrier-free content between the two countries, with the goal of enhancing accessibility. The first day will feature governmental meetings and presentations on corporate projects. Discussions will be led by Shim Min-seok, a content support official from South Korea, and Julie Quinn, Trade and Investment Counselor at the Australian Embassy.
On the second day, the focus will shift to safeguarding content intellectual property and exploring expansions in related industries. Participants will have the opportunity to attend the 'Content IP Market 2024', also taking place at COEX. The Ministry hopes the forum will enhance content enjoyment and expand the dialogue on barrier-free policies.
