Starting August 28, regulations on fraudulent purchases and resales of performance and sports tickets will be significantly strengthened. The amended laws extend regulation beyond the use of macro programs to cover ticket purchases that circumvent or interfere with fair booking procedures. They also introduce administrative fines of up to 50 times the sale price for repeated or commercial resale violations, along with reporting rewards, the confiscation or recovery of illicit profits, and preventive obligations for ticket sellers and online marketplaces.
