Orbit Friends: Salam Sarawak! is a global edutainment animation series for young children that embraces Sarawak, Malaysia’s multicultural society and Islamic values—particularly Adab—while conveying universal messages of environmental protection and inclusivity.
The story follows characters who are “different”—an alien, a polar bear, and a moon rabbit—as they meet local Malaysian children and discover that “our differences make us special.”
Rather than simply importing existing content, the project aims to expand Orbit Friends into a localized global IP that authentically reflects Sarawak’s culture and identity.
