365 Korea Birth Flowers Coloring Book
While the West typically recognizes 12 monthly birth flowers, Korea celebrates a unique tradition of 366 distinct birth flowers—one for every single day of the year, including February 29th.
Based on the official list designated by the International Garden Exposition to showcase the native flora of Korean gardens, a botanical illustrator spent three years meticulously capturing each flower. To faithfully preserve the delicate essence of these illustrations, the editing process alone took over a year. Furthermore, to perfectly replicate the original pencil sketches, more than 30,000 photographs were taken during the production.
This work was created with the heartfelt wish that every ordinary day might blossom like a flower. Through these pages, I hope you discover how precious each of your days truly is and encounter your own shining inner self through the radiance of every passing moment.
