An ordinary office worker, Dokja Kim read, “Three Ways to Survive in a Post-Apocalyptic World” (“Ways to Survive”), - an epic novel series that ran for ten years – every day on his way home from work. One day, he turned on his smart phone in the subway like any other day, only to realize that the novel was finished. To Dokja filled with bitterness and relief, the writer of Ways to Survive sent a note. Owing to Dokja, it was possible to publish up to the end of the story, and the writer even won an award through a “special” contest. However, now the novel would be available only through paid subscription. The writer stopped contacting him, leaving a special goodbye gift as an expression of gratitude. As such, the “Ways to Survive” series, which Dokja had followed for ten years, appeared to be ending…until the following day, when the world was able to follow the all-too familiar plot of the novel….
