Orphan Code is a VR adventure mystery-puzzle game set across three timelines: 1999, 2042, and 2272.

 

■ Story

Humanity has disappeared without warning. In 2272, players awaken as ECHO, an exploration robot investigating the ruins of Earth and tracing fragmented records of the past.

■ Core Gameplay

Using controller-free native hand tracking, players can

  • Scan environments for hidden clues
  • Extract lost data and reconstruct past events
  • Open temporal rifts and enter the past
  • Intervene in past events to change the present

■ Nonlinear Narrative

The story is shaped by player actions rather than dialogue-choice menus. The order of discovered clues and the way players interact with past events affect the information revealed, narrative branches, and endings.

■ Platform & Technology

Developed with Unreal Engine 5, the game supports Korean and English and is planned for release on Steam and Meta Quest.

■ IP Expansion
Orphan Code expands AIGENBERG’s The Prime Pattern universe from film into immersive interactive storytelling, connecting film, VR, and game-based IP development.
