Description

In the National Institute of Mental Health, life is a war and everyday is a battle. Sleep-deprived, Don, a first-year resident, has no energy to cope with patients other than ‘by the book’. On the other hand, Sarah is a chief physician fearless to challenge the system and authorities when she finds something unjust or impractical for patients. One day, Don tries to send back a patient, who does not qualify for admission. Sarah bitterly criticizes Don but soon realizes that there’s a great potential for Don to become a good psychiatrist. Under Sarah’s supervision, Don gradually grows into a doctor who builds genuine relationship with patients. However, the more Don engages in patients and their personal lives, the bigger the risk gets as the mentally-unstable might interpret the relationship differently. Moreover, an incident breaks out. All at once, Don’s life gets bogged down in his own darkness and descends into the state of mind that no one could have ever imagined…
