GOLDENBOUGH is a traditional book publisher that has published more than 50 genre novels every year since 1996. Since 2017, 'BritG(britg.kr)', an online platform specializing in genre novels, has been opened and has been actively operated for 8 years. It has established itself as an important path for writers currently working at the forefront of genre literature to enter the mass publishing market. Business Description
GOLDENBOUGH is working to expand the diverse base of domestic genre novels published by the company. We have already sold media, webtoon, and export rights to various novels, and are also operating an IP list web page that systematically promotes and manages them. Representatively, author Lee Young-do's masterpiece 『The Bird that Drinks Tears』 was exported to 16 countries, including the US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Japan, and Brazil, and achieved a cumulative export amount of about 500,000 dollars, becoming a new export of Korean novels. In addition, we have exported the overseas rights to 『The Ice Forest』, a representative work of Ha Ji-eun, a second-generation fantasy writer representing Korea, and signed a contract for the production of musical, sold the drama rights and overseas rights to 『How to deal with evil boss?』 and 『Lemonade Granny』, and sold the movie rights to 『Extracurricular Activities』 and 『Beast』, etc. In particular, 『A Week Before I Die』 was produced and aired as a TVING original series in 2025, and set a record of exporting overseas rights to a total of 10 countries including Taiwan, Indonesia, Japan, Brazil, Russia, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Germany, and France.
