Ryoung, the creator behind Ryoung Studio, is a webtoon artist who has serialized works including Naver Webtoon’s 《Killstagram》, 《beauty in a click》, 《Obsessive Idol》, and 《The Tiger God of Jangsan》. She is currently serializing 《Friend Request》 on Naver Webtoon.
Her short-form works include Episode 5, 〈Life-Changing Plastic Surgery Clinic〉, from Naver Webtoon’s 《2019 Ghost User Manual》; Episode 1, 〈Evergreen Nursing Home〉, from 《2022 Scroll Prohibited》; and Episode 9, 〈Joseon Man X MZ Woman〉, from 《2023 Modern Dating Things》.
〈Joseon Man X MZ Woman〉 was adapted into a short-form drama through TVING’s 2026 《Director’s Arena》, with Ryeong participating as the original creator and adaptation screenwriter. The series was released on Lezhin Snack in July 2026.
