Yomong Publishing
Yomong Publishing is a Korean publishing house focused on Young Adult fiction. The name “Yomong” comes from a Korean wordplay: “yo” refers to “today” or “bold/lively,” and “mong” means “dream.” Together, it suggests “dreams of today” or “daring dreams.” It reflects our interest in stories that feel immediate and alive. Under the slogan “Stories You Don’t Want to Wake From,” we develop contemporary narratives for today’s teens and young adults.
From the earliest stages of development, we consider screen adaptation. We collaborate not only with novelists but also with screenwriters and web fiction writers, encouraging storytellers to work beyond the conventions of their original platforms. Our goal is to develop stories with both literary depth and visual expansiveness.
