Summary
Myeong-jeong, who lost his wife years ago, runs a laundry by himself in a slightly run-down, slightly poor neighborhood. His only son, who had been living abroad, also passed away in an unexpected accident. Shortly after, a package arrives for him under his son’s name. Inside, he finds a robot in the shape of a 17-year-old boy. Myeong-jeong takes the robot as a final gift from his son and names it “Eun-gyeol,” the name he always hoped to give to a second child, if he ever had one.
