Fantastic Portal is a 7-meter-tall tunnel media sculpture for the 29th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN 2026). Inspired by the festival’s neon chameleon and AI’s boundless imagination, this gateway to future cinema stands at Bucheon City Hall Square. As the grand opening's centerpiece, it invites visitors to walk through and immerse themselves. The portal was built using "TiLiT," a proprietary eco-friendly modular system. Up close, individual square tiles are distinct, but from afar, they merge into an organic landscape of neon flows designed by AI. Shifting between "pixel" and "landscape" based on perspective, it translates digital imagery into a physical form. Beyond aesthetics, it acts as a true portal. Scanning it with a smartphone triggers vivid AR content, launching visitors into a digital universe. Built on a 100% reusable structure, it combines AI design and AR interaction to present a new cinematic paradigm.
