On June 6, 2033, Lucifer tears through the body of the world’s greatest K-pop idol to reveal himself. As European demons and monsters swarm the peninsula, the resurrected corpses of North and South Korea begin to consume the living—not to kill, but to "assimilate" them into their undead ranks. Most of the 50 million people in Korea perish, replaced by those rising from the earth.
Kang Do-hyeon, the Goblin King who has long awaited this day, leads the "12 Heavenly Spirit Alliance"—a coalition of Grim Reapers, the Shaman Union, Magic Seodangs, Arirang Warriors, Catholic Exorcists, and Mountain Spirits—to a final stand on Mount Mudeung.
As the Goblin King’s club shatters under Lucifer’s final assault, a hidden truth is unveiled. From within the King, Chiwoo the Heavenly King and Michael the Archangel of War, who had slumbered for millennia, are reincarnated for the ultimate showdown of destiny against Lucifer on the peaks of Mudeung.
