Summary
If you could buy back your youth with money. FAUSTER is a sci-fi action-mystery built around the "Faust-Fauster" system, through which wealthy elderly clients ("Fausts") experience the bodies and senses of young people ("Fausters") via a neural implant.
Joonseok, a star pitcher once voted "owner of the nation's most perfect body," discovers he has long been secretly hijacked by the Faust of a former National Assembly speaker. Around the same time, reporter Eunmin uncovers that she too has been a Fauster, controlled by a loan-shark matriarch seeking revenge. As more hidden Fausters across Korean society, a detective, a priest, a rising politician, an idol, come to realize their own condition, they join forces to expose Mephisto, the shadow corporation behind the system, and reclaim their freedom.
The series is built on a single grounded speculative premise, layered onto an otherwise recognizable, present-day Korea, pairing thriller momentum with a universal class conflict.
