Summary
A Joseon-era Sherlock and Watson wander the country, solving eerie cases born from wounded hearts! Set in the Joseon Dynasty, Strange Wandering is an occult buddy mystery following two unlikely companions who travel across the country to investigate strange and unsettling incidents. Hyowon is the illegitimate son of a powerful noble family, carrying a secret about his birth. Saro is an outcast known as “the child of a fox,” feared for his mysterious abilities. Though completely different in personality and appearance, the two form an unlikely duo and begin solving bizarre cases rooted in Korean folklore. Across seven eerie episodes—featuring golden toads, fox beads, goblin fire, village guardian spirits, cursed dolls, and other supernatural motifs—Hyowon and Saro discover that every strange case hides a wounded human heart.
