Summary
Hidden on a street that appears on no map, Gyeong Clinic offers what no hospital can: the surgical extraction of mental illness. Three rules apply — it cannot be stopped, what is removed can never be returned, and the emptiness left behind is the patient's alone.
The "Inner Eye" shows each patient exactly what they stand to lose before surgery. A mother extracts her own anxiety rather than her son's autism. A teacher rejects surgery to keep the empathy that lets him recognize his students' pain. A veteran escapes trauma-driven violence through extraction.
Then clinic director Joo-hoon fails for the first time. Haunted by a past patient's suicide, he sees her face in a new patient and acts rashly. His own emptiness surfaces.
