Individual Member
White Kite is a three-member indie game development team, consisting of one member each in planning & programming, art, and sound.
The team was formed when the planning/programming and art members came up with the initial concept for Hallowanderband, and later expanded by bringing in a dedicated sound designer to strengthen the game’s originality.
While rhythm games often rely on music from external artists, White Kite develops its music in-house. By integrating the sound team into the core development process, we aim to create a more cohesive and distinctive audio identity for the game.
The team name “White Kite” originates from combining one syllable from each member’s name to form the Korean word for “white kite (흰 연),” which was then translated into English.
It reflects the idea that all members stand on equal footing and are closely connected as a single team.
