Summary

At Spruce Tree Hospital, there is a plant doctor named So Yi-yeon who secretly looks after Kwon Chae-woo, a man in a vegetative state. Two years ago, Yi-yeon went up the hill behind her house and witnessed Chae-woo burying someone alive. She was almost killed by him but survived, and Chae-woo ended up in a vegetative state. One day, Chae-woo wakes up with no memory of the past. When he asks who she is, Yi-yeon impulsively replies, "I'm Kwon Chae-woo's wife."
Even though he has lost his memory, Chae-woo's instincts remain, and he begins to suspect Yi-yeon while trying to uncover the reason he ended up in this condition. To avoid being caught, Yi-yeon tells more lies to Chae-woo and also lies to the villagers to keep Chae-woo hidden. Despite their suspicions, they start to rely on each other. This is the love story of SoYi-yeon, a tree doctor who doesn't believe in love, and Kwon Chae-woo, a congenital psychopath who can't feel love. Can they truly find love?
