Summary

Kim Hyun-ah, an elementary school teacher, lives with her former student, high school student Park So-yeon. So-yeon's grandmother has gone missing, and her biological father, Park Min-cheol, has been a perpetrator of child abuse. Then, one day, Park Min-cheol falls to his death from the roof of his home. The detective in charge, Jang Kyung-jun, discovers that it wasn't a simple fall, but rather a murder.
Hyun-ah encounters Jang Kyung-joon during the Park Min-chul case and the neighbor's violent dating scandal, and their relationship develops. However, Kyung-jun begins to draw a line, promising to contact her once the case is resolved, leaving Hyun-ah feeling uneasy.
