"DREAMS AND REALITY, THE AMBIGUITY OF THAT BOUNDARY"
The 2024 A/W collection draws inspiration from the movie ‘The Science Of Sleep,’ exploring the boundaries between the world of dreams and reality, and delving into the conflict between one’s inner self and the external world.
Through this, we aim to convey a unique experience by emphasizing emotional and creative visual effects, as well as our distinctive imagination.
Accent colors of Pastel tones present a dreamy and surreal atmosphere. We brought the dream world to life using experimental and unique fabrics such as sequin and embellished, which often evoke candy wrappers and cardboard seen in scenes depicting fluffy shirts or dreamlike settings.
Even in the representation of reality with basic wool jackets, wool pants, etc., the addition of whimsical details like invisible zipper suggests the ambiguity between dream and reality. This adds unique elements to everyday attire, expressing the intersection of dreams and reality.
Through these design elements, this collection aims to convey to the audience the beautiful ambiguity and creative imagination between reality and dreams, interpreting the sensibility of ‘The Science Of Sleep’ in a modern and ‘JINSUN’ perspective.
