Summary
The series is a Sit-com for upper pre-schoolers that explores the day to day life of a young Sloth named NEUL with his family and his two best friends, ARL the Armadillo and GIL the Anteater.
The series explores three main themes:
• LEARNING TO GET ON WITH DIFFERENT FRIENDS:
As a sloth, Neul loves the quiet life and always acts slowly and deliberately, whereas ARL is speedy and jumps into action. Often, their friend GIL is mediate between the two boys. These three characters learn to resolve their differences to get along together.
• THE BEAUTY OF A SLOW LIFE IN NATURE:
The series is set in a beautiful area of countryside beside a city. Neul encourages his friends to appreciate the beauty of nature and enjoy the benefits of a slower, quieter life. His plans are often upset by his quick-acting, city-loving friend ARL.
• NEUL’s LIFE AT HOME AND AT SCHOOL:
At home, Neul is expected to help look after his adventurous younger sister Bo, who has learned to crawl around very quickly and gets into plenty of trouble. Neul is supported by his caring parents. At school, Neul enjoys being taught by his favourite teacher, Lena.
