Synopsis

The trio of Dongjae, Jo Won-hoo, Seo Moon-ho, and Lee Ha-ryun, who were caught studying Western learning in secret while still being students at Sungkyunkwan. And even Yoon Dam-mi, a secret friend who was wrongly implicated with them. The four people were summoned before the king for breaking the law and instead of being kicked out of Sungkyunkwan, they received an unexpected royal order to work as a special operating officer at the Office of the Inspector General after their work at Sungkyunkwan was over.
Secret Mission
The king wants to investigate the suspicious movements within the Physiognomy Office, which has been making a lot of mistakes recently, through the special operating officer. The crown prince persuades the king to join the special surgeons' secret mission, and Dam-mi discovers circumstances in which someone intentionally tampered with books in the library. The conspiracy hidden behind the forged books also casts an ominous shadow over the relationship between Won-hoo and Dam-mi, who have just begun to love each other... .
The truth of that day is finally revealed
Following the clues that are gradually revealed, the special operating officer gradually get closer to the truth. Although they were prepared, the truth they finally face hurts everyone. In the meantime, the local people who circulated the forged book start to become noisy, and the crown prince reveals his greed to take over Dam-mi while Dam-mi and the won-hoo are estranged. Just as the special operating officer' mission is about to end safely, an unexpected guest comes to the king.

In order to correct the past with her own hands, Dam-mi becomes a special agent and leaves for Mukheung. Won-hu also stays by her side, but Dam-mi continues to push him away.
