Summary
The story of a 13th year Housewife who knows little about games becoming trapped in the metaverse.
In the near future, hyper-urbanization has begun transforming everyday life into virtual reality. A metaverse game enjoyed while connected to neural interfaces and asleep is gaining popularity. It's called ‘Wonder City’.
Jandi, a mother of 13 years with a stubborn gamer husband and son. She was responsible for running the household. When her job closed down because of Wonder City, she impulsively took a job in Wonder City's customer service department. She wanted to do something, even for her unruly son. But when a cyber terror attack hits Wonder City, Jandi loses her family.
Jandi awakens in Wonder City as her son's game character, transported by an unknown force. After two hours of wandering, the game explodes, and she reappears at the starting point. This situation repeats endlessly. Suddenly thrust into the role of a metaverse detective, she discovers she must complete the mission to catch the terrorists to break free. Worse, she must find her family within this vast game world and join forces with them.
A game where nothing goes as planned. Can Jandi stop the terrorists and escape this metaverse hell?
